So, whatever is happening, it appears to be happening to all databases, not just my latest. I see my form name with its flippy triangle (this time there is no 'Untitled 1') but if I click it, the triangle disappears and no 'Standard' icon is displayed. I just tested this on a database I built ages ago as part of my 'self-training' and the same problem exists. That particular macro does seem to have disappeared along with the form it was saved in, but now, I can't create any others. I couldn't find any way to delete the macro (How do you do that?), so I deleted the form. I did create a macro for a form in this database, but it didn't do what I wanted. And also happens if I click the triangle next to 'Untitled 1'. This is consistent for all three of the forms I have designed so far for this database. It doesn't display the expected 'Standard' icon and I cannot create a macro. When I click on the triangle next to my form's name - it disappears. When I open my form for editing, work through the Tools menu and reach the Macro screen, I see my form (with a flippy triangle) and another 'Untitled 1' form (also with a flippy triangle). I want to Add a Button to Open Another Form and am following the Back to Base tutorial. ![]() Posted: Fri 9:34 am Post subject: Base - cannot create macro, Standard icon does not appearĪ very funny thing is happening.
